Gilberto has been working as a freelance graphic designer, photographer and multimedia artist since 1992. Commissions have included portraiture, architecture, product, industrial and editorial work. Personal work ranges from photo jounalistic street photography, to images of nature, still life and landscape as well as figure studies.
Gilberto's work reflects his travels within North American and Europe.

Gilberto's work is included in private and corporate collections in Canada, Europe and the United States. He has received several awards in recognition of his talent. Gilberto is involved with Amnesty International, CUSO and the WWF.Gilberto has studied at the Ontario College of Art, Maisonneuve College in Montréal, and Ryerson University.
